Savannah Mae is Charlotte-local musician, performer and instructor who is passionate about singing, performing, creating an energetic and engaging show, helping others find their musical passions, teaching, and workshopping performances. She has years of experience singing and performing many genres, including rock, singer-songwriter, pop, country, musical theater, classical, etc.

Savannah has been singing as long as she can remember and performing since 2009. She took up guitar lessons at age 9 and piano lessons at age 12. At age 11, she joined her first band, The Controll Freex, with whom she played festivals, weddings, and school dances, as a vocalist and rhythm guitarist. During these many years, Savannah’s love for being in a band became part of the fabric of her life.

In 2018, Savannah co-founded her Classic & Modern Rock Band, Unknown Artist, with whom she has entertained thousands of audience members as the lead vocalist and engaging front woman, while also switching between electric guitar, acoustic guitar, keyboard, and bass. You can catch Savannah perform in Unknown Artist every weekend at restaurants, concert venues, festivals, breweries and other events.

In addition to performing, she also writes and records with a local artist, teaches voice lessons and coaches bands at Karl Gunther Studios, and attends UNC Charlotte as a Psychology Major with a double minor in communications & music.
